One Post Office Square Progress
Title: One Post Office Square Progress
Standing 525 feet tall, One Post Office Square (OPOS) is a 41-story skyscraper in the Financial District of Boston, Mass. Originally designed by Jung Brannen Associates, OPOS was completed in 1981 as a modern styled, sculpted tower consisting of a steel frame with a concrete aggregate facade.
Fast-forward to 2020 and the building is getting a spectacular renovation. Gensler is the architect on the project and working closely with the general contractor, John Moriarty and Associates, breathing new life into the structure. Benson is happy to be part of this unique project that incorporates over 250 uniquely designed curtain wall units adding up to nearly 5,700 total units. The renovation will include; new facade, reclad and overclad. Benson Senior Project Manager, Mark Mosher, has worked diligently to make sure the installation of the roughly 340,000 square feet of curtain wall goes smoothly.
